Leave Policies

Leave Types
| Type | Covers | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Vacation Leave | Planned personal time off, rest, family events, or travel | Check your available balance before submitting. |
| Personal Leave | Personal or family matters, such as a spouse or child’s illness, bereavement, or urgent personal errands | Use this when the absence is not for your own illness. |
| Sick Leave | Your own illness, medical appointments, or recovery | Employee only. Sick leave does not cover a family member’s illness. |
| Unpaid Leave | Time off after leave quota is exhausted | Requires manager approval. |
Sick Leave and Family Medical Emergencies
Sick leave is only for the employee’s own illness or medical treatment.
If you need time off because a spouse, child, or another family member is sick or hospitalized, submit Personal Leave or Vacation Leave, depending on your available balance. Do not submit this as Sick Leave.
